Painting over the past

Watch the video

This video was shot back in December, but it has been difficult for me to go back to the footage and try to edit. The footage itself was fine, and the story was intact. Rather, it was difficult for me to face this chapter in my life all over again.

I think that given time and hindsight, and also getting out of my bubble to meet new kinds of people, has empowered me to look objectively at the past and paint a beautiful video to remember it by.

Human Rights also came up on more than one occasion.

I am reminded of the closing lines from Fight Club... "You met me at a very strange time in my life."

;-D

Mike, it's so true. I did meet you moments before all this happened!

You're welcome Mike! I hope the AVI tip came in handy! (A delayed "you're welcome," but one none the less).

Your sister is so cute! You both make funny siblings. Do more vlogs with her :-)

Oh, and yes, keeping yourself busy is a good way of helping you cope with the hard times in your life.

When my parents divorced a long time ago and when someone special in my life hurt me once, I remember doing a lot of gardening and washing cars and cleaning. It was boring but theraputic none the less.

Yeah you definitely need to do more vlogs with your sister. She's cool. (see I commented x)

Leah, I never said that nobody wanted to see you on my vlogs. I just said that nobody wanted to listen to your commentary on every minute detail of my actions, which I edited out by the way. They would all be singing a different tune if I left in that tragic discourse.
