And Then I Said

From an excerpt of a conversation I had online:

Ideally I'd like to become a monk with a lover who lives in an intentional community. We cut ourselves off from the "western civilization" grid 20-50 years ahead of when everyone else is going to rudely booted off anyways because of limited resources and the subsequent famine and war which is sure to follow.

I'll be a protector of a vast quantity of acid free books so that our culture and heritage and lessons may be passed on to the future, as well as a wide variety of seeds for a wide variety of food plants which we would export for free or a nominal fee. I may wear a brown robe, but only out of necessity.

The fourth NT is doing machines somewhere else. I spent the afternoon at Birds Hill park beach and it was FABULOUS! It was my first time outside of the city perimeter since I arrived over 2 months ago. Renee arranged everything too, which was impressive. Manitoba is having a good effect on her as well.
