10 > 5 = True

Winnipeg is in short supply of tenpin bowling lanes for a city of its size. The problem, I believe, stems from an overabundance of five pin bastard lanes on every corner. Winnipeggers seem to love the five pin bowling game, which is obviously a mental disorder or a disease in the water of some variety.

I went tenpin bowling at La Verendrye Bowling Lanes with some friends earlier this week. I lost both games. Damned five pin has dulled my game.

I didn't go 5-pin bowling until I experienced bingo bowling at academy lanes fall before last. it can get...quite competitive if you're with the right/wrong? people. winkler has 10-pin, what i grew up on! we even had a gym-credit class where we went bowling everyday for two weeks. whew, sure worked up a sweat.

We only have 3 bowling alleys in Saskatoon.
I love your pictures,
they're bowlarific!

@M: I'd call the competitive ones the wrong crowd. I'm too playful with life to care enough :)

@IIJLH: That was too sweet. I think I just barfed a little in my mouth.

The best Bowling would be Glo-Bowling on Acid...
but it would also have to be 1974 because I do not have enough brain cells to squander on such frivolous endeavours.

The mere thought of the biohazard presented in sharing those 'shoes' is enough to make me curl up in the fetal position. Eeew.

I never get sick any more, because I made sure to eat all my boogers as a kid. I am impervious to the shoe germs.

FIVE PIN?! Is that with those brightly colored, plastic pins that toddlers use?

Okay okay okay I have to defend 5-pin bowling here! It's a way better game than 10-pin! And harder to do well in 5-pin so it's more of a challenge. And it's way more Canadian than 10-pin bowling (Although I have no evidence to back that up, but just call me an expert) so you should love it Michael!
