Super Spies circa 2001.

Click To Play

Since I'm in the middle of packing for Winnipeg, I'm coming across all these old memories burned onto CD. I have always enjoyed playing with the camera, even as a kid, and my siblings and I would often get together to make funny skits on video. Eventually I grew out of it and decided to pursue a serious career in the media industry in Los Angeles. Now it's welcoming me back.

Starring are my kid brother and sister Paul and Leah, and Leah's friend.

Pay special attention to the calculator, and the A: Drive. Oh, and the special sound the computer makes is a cameo guest star voice appearance.

This video was filmed around 2001.

Easter Chill

Click To Play

I really wanted to explore my favorite hike in the world during the winter, however the opportunity to visit in the last 6 months didn't come up, and all the snow melted away.

Thanks to a freak Easter Chill I got to experience the forest with a dusting of snow across the oranges, browns, and greys! It was a great day.

Laughing at my art

Jared and Paul came over for a movie and pizza the other day, and they laughed and ridiculed me for my art. I was so jealous of my gift for my Mom this Christmas that I had to get my own calligraphy set. It's traditional, you have to dip it in an ink well and all that. The page you'll see was my first attempt ever. I think I have a knack for it.

Leaving for the West

Getting ready to leave
Originally uploaded by Michael Tyas.
My two brothers and two friends (one not present) are leaving today for Alberta, to go to their friend's wedding and then find good paying work in the Western Opportunity. I hope they never come back, because I love them and know they could start a brand new life out there, and then I can come visit. Good luck and God bless guys!

Christmas Hair

Watch the video

Just when you thought Christmas was over, you're thrown to the floor and slobbered all over by a big hairy vlog.

There's a tradition among the siblings in my family, that at Christmas time we open up the stockings in what is now my bedroom. When we were younger, we used to sleep in that room all together and play '20 questions' while we were too excited to sleep, but now I demand my privacy. And my sleep.

For all you vloggers out there wondering what conclusion I've come to thus far in my hunt for the best compression, observe the stats below. If you have any suggestions for a better compression with minimal quality loss, let me know!

Little Pig, let me come in.

My brother and I dig back into old memories and have fun with old fashioned block castles. He's 18. I'm 22. Did you like playing with blocks when you were young (at heart)?
